Description
I was getting pretty annoyed by the shower in my RV, so one of the best upgrades I did was to install a thermostatic shower valve. This allows you to set a specific temperature and also turn on and off the flow. It prevents the cold and hot water mixing at the shower head valve, so no more cold water bursts when turning the water back on, after it being turned off. To do this I found the 4 inch seperation shower valve linked below. It needed some spacers for the retaining nuts to mount it in the existing shower location, in addition to that I also made a hook to hold the shower hose in place instead of the original that was just a round hole and prevented your from removing the hose competely from the wall.
You won't regret this upgrade.
