Double headlight for bikes with 25mm handlebar.

DISCLAIMER: This is an old project that was migrated from thingiverse. Dealextre seems to be out of business and I was unable to find the exact same leds on Aliexpress or similar sources. I've uploaded detailed photos of the leds and their measurements just in case someone is able to find them.

I was in need of a powerful light for my bike and had several "Waterproof Water Tight High Powered 1W LED Module" from dealextreme (SKU:11263 ) around.

These leds work with 12V which I intend to source from a 3S LiPo Battery.

I decided to make a headlight using those modules and this is the result. Hope it's useful for someone else.

Note: The photos in dealextreme show + and - cables going out from each side but in the ones I have both cables go out from only one hole in the side.

Instructions

I've printed it in ABS with 60% infill for strength. You could try to print it with less infill.

One STL is the build platform and the other is only a Mockup.

All assembles with M3 flat head screws and 4 nuts. The handlebar clamps are the only parts with nuts for a strong hold on it.

After printing, you have to break the support for the screw recess in the back cover. you can screw from the open side until the support breaks from the other side. after this you only need to trim the remaining plastic in the sides of the recess.
