Description
Simple enclosure for ZK-4KX or XK-4KX buck/boost DC-DC converter. A lot of big vent holes from all sides for better cooling. Wires can be mounted and dismounted without removing the device out of the case. An additional external fan is recommended when used with high current.
My print settings: PETG, 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height, 2 walls, 4 top, 4 bottom, 24.9% grid infill (only used for left and right walls because they are thick and we don't need tons of plastic there), 25mm/s walls speed, no supports. I recommend to test and find the best retract settings for your printer using some test models before printing this enclosure because there will be a lot of retracts there! Fast printing speed and non-optimized retract settings result in ugly vent holes!
How to use: just insert the device inside, it holds very strong and it will never fall out of there! If you need to get it out, separate the top side of the device and the case with your nail to make a gap between them all the sides around, then it can be opened easier with hands.
