Car dash mount for portable wireless CarPlay Android Auto

This mount was designed for the Westods Portable Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto unit. This will likely fit other of the 9.3" wireless head units on Amazon that are rebranded under other names.  The mount is extremely solid and doesn't bounce with the car like the included mounts do.

The included mounts were not very good. The suction cup mount fell over and left an imprint on my dash. The other mount put the unit too far back and at a bad angle. My dash is mostly flat and this will work best for flat dashboards. If your dash is severely curved this model may not work as is without modifying the base.

This requires a couple of parts. Since the base and the arm are separate you will need 4 M3 12-14mm screws to put them together. You will also need some mounting tape, I recommend 3M VHB 5952 tape as it is semi-permanent and can be removed if necessary but still has a strong grip.

Parts required:

• 4 12-14mm M3 screws (to mount arm and mount together)
• 3M VHB tape or other mounting tape
