Description
I made this to help my toddler know when it's time to be sleeping and when it's time to wake up. The lights are programmed to be green throughout the day, and turn yellow at night and during naptime. It's been very handy for when my daughter wakes up in the middle of the night, and allows mom and dad to wake up at a consistent time every morning.
The processor is an ESP32 which makes an NTP request over Wifi to get the current time. The code I wrote for the project is available here. “Naptime” can be manually activated by the press of the button on top, which will turn the lights yellow for a specified length of time. Everything is press-fit together.
