Description
The hinge on my charging case for my headphones broke and a replacement case is not only hard to find but expensive for what it is. So since only the bottom half broke and the electronics inside still work I decided to make it myself. This repair keeps the gray cloth outer shell and is only meant to replace the white/black plastic shell inside of that. If your case split in half this is not going to work but feel free to modify it further or add to it to suit your needs, I've included STP files for that.
For now only the bottom plastic shell is finished since that is the only part I needed myself, though I've included the rough start to the top piece which I might finish if there is ever demand for it.
All internal components are able to be transferred with no problem from the original shell, though glue is recommended for some parts and obligatory for the metal piece which allows for the magnetic “snap” of the case.
Printed mine with a MK3S+, 0.6mm nozzle and .15mm layer height. Results may vary because of tight tolerances and thin walls.
