Description
This is the in-progress development for a linear rail conversion for the Y axis of the Tenlog Hands 2 IDEX printer. My biggest complaint is the fact that v roller wheels are used on the Y axis, despite the X axis using an MGN12 rail so I designed a conversion. This is designed to keep the bed at roughly the same height as stock and re-use the factory leveling hardware. No endstops have to be moved. The belt system is also unchanged, just longer bolts are required. Rail alignment tool file provided. At this time the implementation of this conversion is untested, so install at your own risk.

SOURCING:
M3x10 SHCS are used to fasten MGN12C blocks to Bed_Carrier. M4 button head screws and nyloc nuts are used as the new belt retaining bolts, with the nut used to lock the screw in at the correct height from the Bed_Carrier. M3x6 SHCS are used to fasten Endstop_Flag to Bed_Carrier (must be on right side of printer). The holes for the M4 button head screws will have to be tapped, as well as the screw holes to retain Endstop_Flag. The factory end plates will have to be replaced with End_Plate. I realize Bed_Carrier is severely overengineered and probably heavy, if you have an idea for a lighter design feel free to modify the provided STEP file. Bed_Carrier will be machined from aluminum for my application, but if you want to 3D print it instead I've included a .3MF and .gcode file.
