Prusabox modular front for Aliexpress 5" DSI IPS touchscreen

1. Introduction

Prusabox proposes a modular front to install a Waveshare 5" display on your enclosure. However, Waveshare screens tends to be quite expensive sometimes and difficult to find.

Very similar touchscreens can be found on Aliexpress. (Miktver Portable 5 Inch MIPI DSI Display HD 800x480 Capacitive Touchscreen Monitor for Raspberry Pi 4/3/2/1/B/B+/A+, Win 7/8/10 - AliExpress).

But the dimensions of Aliexpress screens are slightly different (a couple of milimeters). Therefore I redesigned the part to fit those screens and also implement a flexible button to change the backlight level via the dedicated button on the screen.

Just follow Prusabox instructions as nothing has changed except the presence of the button which will naturally be placed above the backlight button of the screen.

5. Notes

• G-code file only made for MK3S+. The file contains some custom lines to add a pre-heating before the printing to avoid oozing during the mesh bed levelling. And a timer at the end of the print to buzz a sound once the parts has cooled down. 
• Do not use the g-code file on other machines than MK3S+ ! In any case, I recommend you to slice the .stp files by yourself to make your own g-code files.
