Description
My entry into the Cooler Master Atmos Pump cover contest! I saw the shape and immediately thought robot eye. It looks cool and allows light to shine through the opening in the center around the logo which becomes the “pupil” in this design.
Assembly is easy, print both parts and put a little super glue into the slots on the back of the iris badge shape before pressing the bottom piece into it. Hold it for about 30 seconds and boom, it's “one” piece.
I recommend printing the piece labeled “Diffuser” in a clear or sorta clear filament for maximum light effects. If you want it opaque to tone down the RGB but still get a nice glow around that cooler master logo do the diffuser in something opaque.
My print shown in the photos is printed in Protopasta's recycled black PLA, it's super opaque and has some sparkly bits in there (from the recycled material) It would look very nice in a case but alas I don't have an Atmos ( yet ;p )
