Description
I made this holder for my Hurricane Sheet Metal Hand Seamers, I have 3" and 6" versions that take up a log of space laying down so I thought hanging from a overhead shelf would be most efficient. The 6" seamer is quite heavy so I made the holders extra beefy. I used PLA since it always stays cool in my basement shop.
I wanted the strongest direction for the hook shape so I printed on the edge/side with organic supports (paint on) like this:
The supports came off by hand really easy.
I used some generic PLA and it feels really strong. There are 5 screw holes but I think three are enough, I put two screws in the front and one in the back since the weight pulls down on the front flange the most.
Screw holes should work with #6, #8 or M3.5 flat head screws.
