Safety Door Stopper/Bumper V1 (2019 Design)

The Safety Doorstop prevents the door from slamming abruptly by gently cushioning it.
This can, for example, prevent small children's fingers from being crushed when the door closes due to a gust of wind.
This also prevents glass breakage on doors that have thin glass panels.
In addition, this always leaves the door ajar so that your cat 😺 can always get in 😉.

Features

• Can be used for right and left stops
• Damping effect stops the door
• No slamming doors
• Compatible: with a door width of 37.5mm to 40mm (1.476 to 1.574 inch)

• Possible mounting options:
  1. as a door bumper on the upper edge of the door, suitable for the area in the middle of the door up to the outer edge
  2. as a door bumper on the side edge of the door

Print Notes

• It is printed without infill. As a result, the wall thickness is determined by the number of perms for a given extrusion width.
• A wall thickness of 4.5 mm (0.177 inch) has proven to be a suitable spring force, for a given doorstop height of 20 mm (0.787 inch).
• For example, if you want to reduce the spring force, you can easily do so in the slicer:
  • reduce the number of perimeters
  • and/or reduce the print object height on the print bed by moving the print object towards the print bed or cutting it at the desired height.
