XL Pi Cam V3 Snap-On Mount

This is a Raspberry Pi Camera V3 mount for Prusa XL.

Camera angle is optimized horizontally to cover the entire bed.

Parts

• 1x Raspberry Pi 3B/4B
• 1x Raspberry Pi Camera V3 (Wide angle version recommended)
• 1x Pi3B/4B case (+Fan) by ywabiko | Download free STL model | Printables.com
• 1x 200mm Raspberry Pi camera flat cable
• 1x (optional) M4x30mm machine screw.
  • If you don't use the Pi holder, M4x20mm is sufficient.

• Layer height 0.2mm

TLDR

Raspberry Pi Camera V3 comes with 4 variants. 

• Standard angle (75-degree), with IR filter
• Wide angle (120-degree), with IR filter
• Standard angle (75-degree), without IR filter.
• Wide angle (120-degree), without IR filter.

Wide angle version is highly recommended here. Its minimum focal length (50mm) works pretty well, i.e. it can auto focus to close models just fine.

Standard angle version kind of works too, but its minimum focal length (100mm) could be an issue if you put your models in the front area of the bed, i.e. camera will be a bit too close ending up with blurry images. If you avoid front area usually, it should be fine.
