Transform your MasterLiquid Atmos CPU Cooler pump into a Stargate. This modification makes use of the pump's illumination, allowing for the application of lithography to create an event horizon and illuminate the chevrons. The photos at the top demonstrate the appearance both with and without backlighting.
When printing, it's crucial to note that the lithography (event horizon) has to be printed vertically.
Printing instructions
I printed all of them with 0.2 nozzle. This is mainly useful for Stargate because it has very small elements. All with PLA.
- stargate.stl
- Nozzle size: 0.2
- Layer height: 0.1
- With supports
- lithophane.stl
- Nozzle size: 0.2
- Layer height: 0.1
- Color: white
- Printed vertically with supports:
- lithophane_background.stl
- Nozzle size: 0.2
- Layer height: 0.1
- Supports: no
- Color: blue
- bottom_tray.stl
- Nozzle size: 0.2
- Layer height: 0.2
- With supports
- chevron.stl
- Nozzle size: 0.2
- Layer height: 0.08
- Color: red
- men.stl
- Nozzle size: 0.2
- Layer height: 0.1
Assembly instructions
- First glue men to the back of Stargate. There is a little groove for it.
- Glue lithophane and lithophane_background together and then glue it to the Stargate.
- Finally, glue it all to the base (bottom_tray) so that the chevrons are aligned with the grooves in the base
