Description
This is a set of cam clamps primarily designed to be made from 18mm and 10mm plywood. Most parts are easily cut square parts, however the lever can be easily 3D printed.
The clamps are designed to be run around a square tubing. I attached models for 30×30 and 40×20mm square tubing.
The attached Fusion 360 model is fully parameterized, so if you have a square bar with different dimensions just change the parameters in Fusion 360 and the whole model will adjust itself.
For assembly I used M3.5×25 wood screws, and M6 bolts for the lever shaft and to mount the fixed jaw to the tubing.
The design was inspired by Pask Makes' Cam Clamps: Cam Clamp - Bar Clamps - YouTube
The shape of the lever follows Marius Hornberger's CNC clamps: Making new and better CNC clamps (free templates) - YouTube
Thanks to these wonderful makers for sharing their ideas with the community!
