Description
Create spirals using the magnetic build in system.
How it works and how to assemble, see video:
It is designed for use with 2 magnets of Ø8x5mm. I added a magnet dummy, so you can use smaller magnets by adding a negative volume (cylinder) in the slicer. When using the dummy, add some grease in the spiral to make the sliding smooth. For a normal magnet Ø8 it's not necessary.
Use a steel ball Ø8 or smaller and turn the wheels around. The ball will make a spiral movement leaving a spiral trail in the sand.
Use as fine sand as possible. Unfortunately I only had coarser sand at my disposal.
Use stones or a larger ball to represent the dots.
To stay in the Yin & Yang theme it would of course be best to use white and black sand and a white and black stone/ball as the dots.
Printed with 0.4 nozzle, layer height 0.2 (including first), infill 10%, no supports.
