Radiomaster Boxer ELRS antenna mod

A modification to the boxer to have a much smaller ELRS antenna.

This modification requires you to open the radio to change the internal connection. Any damage is solely responsibility of the person opening the radio.

Installation instructions:

1.-Open the radio by unscrewing the four screws on the back (two are under the side pads)

2.-Heat up the glue supporting the uFl connector at the top of the ELRS module (center)

3.-Remove the glue and detach the uFl adapter

4.-Unscrew the adapter from the top hole (just the adapter, no need to remove the holder)

5.-Insert the happymodel ELRS antenna into the main body of the 3D printed part

6.-Connect the cylinder to the main body with the antenna cable through it

7.-Insert the cylinder into the hole where the antenna adapter was from the top down, while inserting the antenna cable through the hole.

8.-Attach the uFl connector (Recommended to add some hot glue)

9.-Close the radio

Note: My uFl connector on the ELRS module was very fragile, and despite I warmed up the glue I ended up screwing it up and it got all broken. I had to replace and re solder a new uFl connector to it, so be careful in this operation (step 3)

Print in TPU 0.15 layer height if you want a nice finish, 0.2 works well also.
