P1P Exhaust Duct for Chamber Fan Removable

This is my take on a removable duct adapter to send the chamber fan exhaust into a 100mm dryer duct.

It is for installing a P1S chamber fan into a P1P and then ducting the air out of the room / garage.  

It is magnetically attached to the back panel of the P1P with 6mm x 3mm round magnets.  Good strong magnets are best - I had leftovers from the vision enclosure. 

I used this drill guide to drill out the P1P panel. It isn't necessary to drill all the holes (you could probably just cut one big middle circle) but the 4 corner holes are used for the guide pins of the duct:

It is pretty critical the panel is kept flat and straight to avoid escaping air.  

If you aren't drilling your own panel or using the P1S back panel, there's a version without the pins and with additional magnets.  

There's also two different TPU seals.

The chamfered one is intended as an O-Ring style seal.  Print it with 1 wall, 1 top and bottom layer, 0 infill so it's fully hollow.  This will make it nice and squishy.

The rectangular one is intended as a labyrinth style double seal.  Print it with 1 wall, 1 bottom, 0 top surfaces, 0 infill.  So you get two ‘sealing lips’ on the same seal.  This one I used as I felt like it did a better job. 

Either seal will require a tiny dab of glue on the four corners of the groove in the duct to keep it in place.  No need to use any more than 4 drops. 

They should scale fine in the z direction if you need a thicker /thinner seal - but the thicker you go the less the magnets will pull. 

The 3mf file has a test piece to adjust the magnet tolerance using x-y compensation.  The holes in the model are exactly 6mm which gives me a tight fit - magnets need to be tapped in with a punch which I like.

I wanted a smaller simpler duct that used the magnets I already had - fewer parts means fewer places to leak - but I still wanted it to be quick and easy to remove.
