Description
Needed to mount my Garmin Zumo XT2 on a BMW 1250 GSA and wanted to use the original bracket. This might also work for the Zumo XT, if the charger is more or less the same as XT2 ( but i have not tried it ).
I wanted to mount it without any modifications to the original cradle, and at the same time try to position the GPS unit properly in relation to the cradle it self.
The set includes a baseplate, spacers and the locking mechanism.
I reused the bolts holding the cradle to the bike, and also the screews which came with the gps unit it self ( i attached some pictures of them )
I used PETG because that was what i had, i do not think PLA is strong enough but let me know if you try and it works for you.

Assembly
1. Make sure the black nuts from the Garmin package fits more or less flush in the base plate, if not you need to clean up the hexagonal holes.
2. Insert the long silver BMW screews with a washer in the four corners, these will still be used to mount the unit back onto the bike.
3. Add the black nuts, you can secure them with some tape to make sure they stay in place. Make sure they are straight, as you wont get to them later.
4. Mount the BMW cradle back on the bike, and secure with silver nuts
5. Take the black screews add a washer, and the spacer below it and secure the garmin charger to the base plate
6. Add the lock using the original screews. I did have to file alittle off the lower bolt for it to run smoothly. The design should be ok now, but be aware that you might have to sand a litte to make minor adjustments.
If you print this please share a make of your result, and let me know if you have any issues.
