Pure Nail, Hollow Knight and nail stand

This Pure Nail is one of our weaknesses. We played the game and had to make something related with it. Although we stopped playing before getting this nail...we still enjoyed a lot making it.

We also created it to make profit of it, because we were invinted to an event to sell our creations. The stand was absolutely a best seller, we went out of stock. But we didnt have the same luck online. We think its important that the buyer can see it and touch it in reality. Once they grab the nail...they are doomed! hahaha Its really, really cool to have the nail in your hands.

The stand is made by the nail and the base. 

To make the nail you will need to print this two stls:

- Nail_half_1

- Nail_half_2

After that, you can glue them together using super glue or similar. As the surface is flat, the attachment of the two parts is good enought.

To make the base you will need to print this tree stls:

- Base_central_part: this is the one that has the letters. Its made with a colour change at 4.2 mm.

- Base_left_piece: this is the wider and shorter one

- Base_right_piece: this is the longer and narrower one

To create the base you will need to fit the left and right pieces in the central base. For a permanent fixation, you can use some drops of glue. We have decided to do this orientation for the base as a start point, but you could change the right and the left pieces once you fit them in the central base and it will work too. Just noticed that the wider and shorter piece is for the part of the nail closest to the habdle, and the longer and narrower piece for the part of the nail closest to the nailhead.

And the colours we used were from fervi3d and smartmaterials, two spanish filament companies. Essencial grey for the nail and iridiscence and re-white for the base. We think that a glow filament will work absolutely nice for the letters!

• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Perimeters: 3
• Top and bottom solid layers: 5
