Aluminum handle adapter for 2020 extrusions

Big printers weigh a lot, and sometimes you are unsure whether printed handles will work just fine or crack, drop your printer, and ruin the 2k Euros machine you just finished building.

Why not use aluminum handles then? This set of adapters properly space your sliding t-nuts, and raise the handle to clear the top panel.

It takes less than 30 seconds to mount or remove them, and if you have a removable top panel you could also just leave one of them always installed and only have to worry about a single one!

• 100mm aluminum handle (AliExpress)
• 4 slide in M5 nuts
• 4 M5x16 bolts
• (optional) 4 5mmIDx10mmOD washers

Assembly

1. Slide in the nuts in your extrusions (hole facing away from each other)
2. position the adapter over them (check that the holes align)
3. add the handles, followed by the washers and finally the bolts

Don't want to always keep them installed? You can easily remove them and keep two assemblies stored away, so you won't need to look for parts each time
