Friendship Lamp

I just took this beautifully made instructiction and created a new housing for it.

Base

The Wemos D1 mini fits nicely into the base and all the pins and the USB are still accessable. The base has a cutout for a LED ring with 24 leds. The part “clamp” is used to fix the Wemos D1 mini in place and is screwed on with a M3 screw.

Shade

I printed the shade in white ABS and it does a great job of diffusing the light. Please check out the model and Author of the model my shade is based of:

Top

The Lamp closes with a sheetmetal disk to which a capazitive sensor is attached to. That way the whole top surface acts as the switch.

Everything closes just with a presure fit. I was able to reopen and close it.

The overall mesurments are: diameter: 80 mm, height: 113 mm

Added the files for a LED ring with outer diameter of 72 mm. Overall mesurments are now: Diameter 86 mm, hight 113 mm.

Note: They are not testet for fit. I assumed a with of the LED ring of 6 mm. The Shade probably has to be scaled to make a nice fit. The wemos mount and everything else is unchanged.
