Description
Football goal for table top games. About 80mm high by 185mm wide. Printed in parts and glued together.
To assemble, lay the frame face down and run some glue in the groove. Start with the top net, taking note that one side has a slight taper - the taper should face out with the wider part down. Next, add a drop of glue to the top of each side piece and place them on each side of the frame, aligning on the underside of the top net. FInally, drop some glue on the edge of the sides and top net and place the back net on top. Pay attention to the orientation of the back net, as it has slanted edges to match the angle of the top net.
If you're not sure about the orientations, hold it together without glue and check everything aligns well - there shouldn't be any gaps on the edges.
The glue I used is Loctite 60 second. I like this glue because it's a superglue (CA) but gives a few seconds to reposition. Once set, a joint with this glue is stronger than the 3D print.
