Description
The “Pop” model of the Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine comes with a drip tray designed for Nespresso's own “Vertuo Gran Lungo” mugs. To use normal sized mugs you need to remove the drip tray, which is not ideal.
I liked Matt Rayner's low-profile drip tray design, but that didn't fit the insert mug stand which came with our Vertuo Pop, and it didn't raise the mug over the mounting bracket, which can be an issue with wide-bottomed mugs that you want to place right against the body of the machine.
This design has a low profile, wider drip tray, and has a removable insert stand which comes up to the top of the mounting bracket. For standard and wide mugs use it with the insert, and for taller mugs you can remove the insert to get the maximum height while still catching drips.
