Description
Drilling holes on a perfect pitch becomes a piece of cake...
Drill the 1st hole. Place a screw or loose drill in the 1st drilled hole, set the desired distance between the holes and drill the 2nd hole in mm (or 1/16 inch) accurately compared to the 1st hole. Tip: use a spirit level under the ruler, or even better, attach a small adhesive level (see example) to the ruler itself.
The base part is usable to 150mm / 6 inch. You can extend to 600mm / 24 inch with self-locking Extension Rulers (150 mm/6 inch each).
All parts can be printed without support as positioned in the STL files.
I printed with 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer thickness, 3-4 perimeters for strength and 15% infill.
I have added STL files of the rulerparts with separate engraving parts and as one piece.
