Model Rocket 18mm Motor Mount Tubes with Retainers

These are Motor Mount Tube (MMT) assemblies for 18mm model rocket motors that will fit BT-50, BT-55, or BT-60 body tubes.  I wanted to update my 18mm Motor Mount for BT-50 Model Rocket and decided to add the BT-55 and BT-60 as well.  I created new retainers for each that has knurling on the cap for easier removal. 

Each assembly is designed to be lined with 18mm motor tube.  

Because the BT-50 has very little clearance with regards to the 18mm tube, the retainer is a bit smaller but the BT-55/60 can use the same retainer, which is a bit larger.

I have printed and used each of these on my personal models.  I used PLA+ and the only time I had issues was when a motor caught on fire on the pad and warped the MMT.  In the best conditions, PLA/PLA+ will work fine but you may consider another material with more heat resistance.  YMMV.

Advisory:  While tube manufacturers attempt to maintain standard sizes, the sizes do vary between manufacturers.  Please check your clearances before running full prints.  Also, be mindful of your infill; more plastic means more rear weight so double-check your center of gravity for stability.
