Description
The mechanical coupling between the motor and attachment on our Braun stick mixer broke.
A replacement part seems to be available on ebay, but it works out at a large fraction of the price of the mixer!
My hopes were raised when I saw http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:112547 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:633453 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1019768 but unfortunately the coupling on our mixer is different so I modelled it up in openscad. This printed version fits nicely, we'll see how it holds up over time. Take at look at those other ones if your coupling is different to this.
You can see how to remove the existing coupling here in this guys video:

Notes:
You want it to be a very tight fit onto the motor side of the mixer, and relatively easy to slide on to the attachment side. You can adjust things in the scad source, or possibly just at the slicing stage via small tweaks to flow rate or XY size compensation. Use high infill for maximum strength.
When connecting the attachment to the motor body you may need to manually rotate the attachment drive shaft a little to ease insertion (this is one area for improvement in my coupling design).License:
