Description
I always use these things off-camera, so I don't need the hotshoe foot, which requires yet another adapter to mount on a light stand. This is a replacement for the hotshoe foot with an embedded 1/4-20 nut so you can directly screw it to your softbox or umbrella mount, light stand, clamp, tripod, spigot, etc.
Just unscrew the four screws, carefully remove the tiny plug inside, pop in the printed part (see below for minor post-processing work) and attach with the same screws (don't over-tighten the small screws or you might strip the threads).

Notes:
Print upright with a brim for bed adhesion. Make sure your tolerances and material shrinkage is dialed in well.
Use a tough plastic like nylon - I used HIPS and it's super sturdy, but your mileage my vary.
Use an exacto knive and sand paper to remove the brim and if necessary make it fit the case without pressing the to halves apart (watch the seams of the case).
Press-fit the 1/4-20 nut - I used hot-glue to be sure. Then cover the end of the nut with some painters tape to avoid dust coming into the flash and to make sure there is no exposed conductor on the inside.
Attach it with the four screws.
