EV Charge Cable Festoon

Cable festoon system I designed to provide strain relief for my EV charging cable hanging overhead.

Truthfully I would make the radius of the support arch larger but I am printing on a Prusa Mini+ and this is close to as big as it can make, but it should be fine. You can scale it up if needed and you have that option. If you have a more flexible cable like the Tesla mobile connector there is likely no need to scale it up anyway.

You will need supports at least for the top mounting ear, and likely will also want a brim to keep it adhering to the build plate.

For anyone that is curious, this is the flexible ceiling track I am using, and this is the spring balance I am using. I have had one of the rollers pop off when I pulled hard on it once so I have taken to doubling up rollers on the ends that support the most load.
