Description
A very small GoPro holder for the Arca-Swiss type clamps. This adapter allows you to use the GoPro finger mounts and mount it to an Arca-Swiss type clamp such as a Tripod or other fixture. You'll need an M5 nut to secure the GoPro Thumb Screw. It's designed to take the standard length screw that comes with the GoPro (tested with Hero 7 Black, Hero 9 and Hero 10). Should fit all GoPro finger mounts, but probably also DJI's versions.
Printer Brand: Prusa
Printer: i3 MK3
Rafts: No
Supports: No
Notes:
I've printed my adapters using Prusa PETG and they're very nice and flexible. It can be printed with the base down and no supports. You'll probably need to run a 5mm drill through the holes for the bolt or use a file to make the bolt fit.
Finish and install the M5 nut
The print with PETG tends to be a bit stringy, so use a file/knife/sand paper to tidy up the print, especially the hole where the M5 nut goes. You can use a Nyloc-style nut or a standard M5 nut. To insert the nut, you can either carefully press it in, but be careful not to bend the prongs on the printed part. The best way to insert the nut is to put a bit of epoxy glue on the sides of the nut or in the hole. Then put the GoPro finger mounts into the holder, then use a longer bolt to tighten the nut into its place (the standard GoPro Thumb bolt is too short to reach the threads of the nut when it's not seated in its final position). Hope this makes sense.
The space between the prongs might also be a bit tight, however, you can use a small flat file to file them to fit perfectly.
