120mm Fan Adapter for Gigabyte MJ11-EC1 and MJ11-EC0 Cooler

This is a simple fan adapter / mounting bracket for mounting a 120mm fan on the original cooler of a Gigabyte MJ11-EC1 mainboard with AMD EPYC Embedded 3151 CPU. With this mod the cooler is whisper quiet and other components (RAM, NVME SSD, VRMs) also receive better cooling.

The adapter uses the two original mounting holes on the cooler. It covers the first two RAM slots but has enough space to fit normal RAM sticks without large heatspreaders. Most of the ports on the mainboard remain easily accessible.

Installation:

1. Screw the Fan to the flat side of the adapter with 4 regular fan screws. Make sure the fan cable points to the right direction.
2. Insert the two original screws from the original 60mm fan through the holes underneath the fan blades.
3. Screw them into the spacers on the cooler.
4. Plug in fan
5. Lean back and enjoy

I recommend using heat resistant material such as PETG, ABS, ASA. Don't use PLA because it can deform over time.
