Description
Summary: Me and my partner created the Cartoon network logo in a 6.0cmx13.0 cm dish with a stand to go with it. We created individual letters bases for the letters and a stand so that when assembled it would be the cartoon network logo
Lesson Plan/Goal:We were tasked with creating a 2D logo in solidworks. The idea was to use teamwork and collaboration to make a 3D printed replica of a logo.

Assembly:Once all of the pieces of the model are printed
You should have printed out 14 bases and 14 letters and a base, half of the pieces should be white and half of them should be black and the base should be black. And you should have a black stand/base.
Next thing you want to do is to put the letter into the corresponding base. The bases should be the opposite color of the letters. The black letters go with the white base and the white letters go with the black base.
Design Choices: First we decided to trace each letter and box out individually.
Then we cut out all the letters and the boxes using the extruded cut tool at a .04 extrusion. We made sure that each letter and box cutout was in its own sketch.
After we cut out the letters and boxes we extruded the base and gave the sides of the dish come over the letters. Once we extruded the dish we used the filet tool to make the tops and bottoms of every letter's base curve inward and to have the letters pop out more. We made sure that they all were filet to 1cm to make them all have the same sleek and less rigid feel than before. We then used the chamfer tool on the dish to make it have a less sharp feel at the bottom and to contrast nicely with the filet of the letters. We did the chamfer at a 45 degree angle and at .20cm. After we chafer the base we used the filet tool again to filet all of the letters to make it look a bit more organic and natural. We filet each letter to .06 cm.
We then decided to make a stand to the back of it so that it could stand on its own. We used the extrude tool to create the back of the design and to finish it. Finally we made sure that every letter and box was correctly colored. We started with a white letter C and then made the base black and kept on the alternating pattern for every letter.

While making our logo we ran into a few issues
