The inserts fit TIGHT. That is intentional, and you may have to play with your horizontal expansion a bit if it's too tight. My X1C nailed the sizing. Your mileage may vary.
The actual drill holes in the inserts are a bit under-sized so you'll need to run the appropriately sized bit through for a clean fit. This is also intentional.
When removing the inserts, push from the top of the cylinder to avoid snapping it.
