Description
It says in the Prusa assembly manuals "Rotate the heating block as shown in the picture.
The angle must be approximately 35° - 40° to avoid damaging the hotend cables. (Image from angle)"
If you are not sure at which angle your heater block is currently installed, you can use the nozzle mounting angle helper to check the current angle and reinstall the new heater block at the same angle.
Simply place the nozzle mounting bracket helper on the hotend as shown in the picture and slide the entire hotend assembly all the way in.
Thanks to the nozzle mounting bracket helper, the position of the hotend assembly is maintained, use the TX 8 Torx wrench to tighten the grub screw to secure the hotend. Do not use excessive force when tightening as this may cause damage to the hotend tube.
I printed all parts with Prusament PETG Signal White.
To replace the part/s, please consult the Prusa Assembly Manuals.
Make sure to follow the manual for your printer model.
