Nest protect flush box mount 65mm

Replaced my old wired smoke alarm with the Nest Protect battery. The standard mounting plate of the Nest Protect battery model did not fit my existing ceiling distribution/central box. So I remixed the standard model to fit my needs.

Check out this remix from mrkb_ for better compatibility with different sizes flush box.

Should work on the wired Nest Protect too but I haven't tested it.

Print settings

• Printed mine with PETG, I cracked an ABS prototype while securing the screws.
• It's a functional print so I upped the perimeters and infill:
  • 4+ perimeters/walls
  • 30%+ infill
• There is a version with support built-in, since I haven't dialed in my PETG support settings. Otherwise you can download the version without supports and do it yourself to save some filament.
