Smoke alarm detector hood with power cut-off for Prusa

Found out about the device on the internet when I was looking for fire alarms. Thought it might be useful to fit it in a funnel.

The exhaust hood was attached to the brackets for the light rail with cable ties.
In the event of smoke development, the smoke detector sends a signal to the socket to which the printer is connected and the socket interrupts the power to the printer. This can potentially put an end to an incipient smouldering fire at the hotend.

The device cannot prevent every fire, monitoring the running printer remains essential.

Ich habe das Gerät im Internet entdeckt, als ich nach Feuermeldern suchte. Ich dachte, es könnte zweckmäßig sein, es in einen Trichter einzubauen.

Die Abzugshaube wurde mit Kabelbindern an den Halterungen für die Lichtschiene befestigt.
Bei Rauchentwicklung sendet der Rauchmelder ein Signal an die Steckdose, an der der Drucker angeschlossen ist, und die Steckdose unterbricht die Stromzufuhr zum Drucker. Dadurch kann ein beginnender Schwelbrand am Hotend möglicherweise beendet werden.

Das Gerät kann nicht jeden Brand verhindern, die Überwachung des laufenden Druckers bleibt unerlässlich.
