Description
This case is designed to house a Wemos D1 Mini and a JSN-SR04T ultrasonic distance sensor. It’s ideal for use with ESPHome and Home Assistant to measure distances, such as monitoring the level in a water tank.
Design Overview
The holder consists of three parts:
- Case: Holds all the electronic components securely.
- Lid: Seals the case. Available in two versions—one with a logo and one without.
- Bracket: Secures the assembly to a wall or other surfaces. Two versions are available:
- Tie-Wrap Version: Uses a tie-wrap to secure the case (optional for holding).
- Clip Version: Secures the case with a clip. This version has been tested, but feedback is welcome!
Features
- No screws required: Tool-free and easy assembly.
- Snap-fit lid: Provides a secure yet easy-to-remove connection.
- Sensor slot: The JSN-SR04T slides neatly into a dedicated slot. For angled connectors, you can carefully straighten them with pliers.
- Secure D1 Mini mount: Held in place by a hook. Tip: Handle with care—gently pull the hook backward to insert the D1 Mini.
