Print Instructions

It's important to ensure the planter is water tight. Here's some print settings that worked for me. Check out the prusa guide to getting watertight prints too!

Filament: PLA or PETG

Supports: None! All my designs are created to 3d print without support.

Perimeters: 3-4 (to achieve watertight seal)

Layer Height: 0.15-0.3mm

Scale: Multiple people have found that scaling the model up has been useful. Check the comments for some different dimensions.

And finally …. share a picture of your print in the comments section. Choosing two different colors for the Self Watering Insert and the Planter is a fun way to make the print pop, and I would love to see any color combinations you come up with.
