Description -
This grabber is designed to pick up one or two of the pixel elements from this year's FTC game. It is designed to pick up the pixels and then deposit them on the backboard or wherever else you want them. This model pairs incredibly with a front-spinning wheel to pull the pixels into the grabber. This model is designed with the standard Tetrix dimensions in mind, with all external mounting points compatible with the system. The grips are also interchangeable, allowing you to play with different material types or even new grabber profiles if desired. Parts and assembly below. Enjoy!

Print tips -
- All parts come in their best print orientation.
- Most parts don't need support, but pieces with unavoidable overhangs like the Servo Notch, Follow Cam, and Inner Cover should have support enabled. Other parts should have supports turned off.
Assembly -
- Print all the necessary pieces for either a single or duo grabber.
Single Grabber:
- Take 37x M3 heat-set threaded inserts and install them as needed into the:
- Grip Slider (3x on bottom)
- Follow Cam (2x total, 1x per side)
- Lead Cam (2x total, 1x per side)
- Servo Notch (4x inside lip)
- Slide Base (26x total, 4x per side, 5x on top, 3x on bottom, 2x inside)
- Once ready, take 1x Servo Notch, thread the servo cable through the center of the Servo Notch from the bottom up, and use 4x 8mm M3 Bolts and 4x M3 Washers to install the servo into the Servo Notch as shown. Ensure that the servo motor cable lines up the with the servo cable notch on the Servo Notch for easy assembly.
- Use 4x 16mm M3 bolts to mount the Servo Notch to the Slide Base as shown.
- Take the servo horn from your servo and attach it to the Lead Cam as shown in one of two ways:
- Connect it using 4x 12mm M3 bolts and 4x M3 Hex Nuts.
- Connect it using 4x 5/16th in. 6-32 Tetrix bolts that will self-tap into the Lead Cam.
- Now using the Lead Cam, connect its attached servo horn to the servo shaft and rotate the shaft counterclockwise until it stops at its limit. This is done to help align the grabber for later. Next take the Lead Cam and its connected servo horn off the servo shaft.
- Use 1x 8mm M3 bolt and 1x Cam Cap to connect the Lead Cam to the Cam Connector.
- Use 1x 8mm M3 bolt and 1x Cam Cap to connect the Cam Connector to the Follow Cam.
- Take your finished cam assembly, flip it over, and mount as shown by:
- Connecting the Follow Cam to the Slide Base by using 1x 16mm M3 bolt and 1x Cam Cap.
- And by connecting the Lead Cam through its connected servo horn to the servo shaft by using the 1x included servo horn screw.
- Now take the Grip Slider and slide it into the dovetail channel as shown.
- Take 2x 8mm M3 bolts and 2x Cam Bolts and connect one to each the Lead Cam and the Follow Cam as shown
- Take the Inner Cover and install it to the Slide Base with 2x 8mm M3 bolts as shown.
- Lastly, install the 2x Grips using 6x 8mm M3 bolts as shown.
Duo Grabber:
- Take 12x M3 heat-set threaded inserts and install them into the 6x Drop Catch Ribs.
- Take the two pre-assembled grabbers and connect them using 16x 8mm M3 bolts to the 2x Duo Brace as shown.
- Take 4x 8mm M3 bolts and install the Pixel Stop as shown to the back side of the grabber to act as an endstop for the pixels being sent down the channel.
- Take 12x 8mm M3 bolts and 12x M3 washers to mount the 6x Drop Catch Ribs (2x per Drop Catch Rib). The Drop Catch Ribs have 2 mounting holes, spaced 31.75mm apart, which mounts to GoBilda frame rails. They also should connect to Tetrix beams in a specific orientation.
