Description
Garden hose sprayer that is highly customizable. The threads are US garden hose threads. Wow, what a fun thing to design... you get control of the size of the sprayer, the number and size of holes, and the angle of spray. Have fun customizing!
Openscad Settings Warnings
spray_hole_shape - the higher the number of sides, the slower the render
spray_hole_size - most printers cannot print anything below 1mm
spray_hole_density - it is possible to make the holes too close. Too many holes or too big and the streams coalesce.
spray_angle - I have not tried anything less than 10 degrees
Printing Warnings
This is used with water under a little pressure, so you should use PET or some other waterproof plastic. PLA might work for a while, but it will degrade. This should be printed at 100% infill to prevent leaks where you don't want them.
Print this in the orientation that's set with the flared part of the sprayer pointing down. This way you don't need any support.
Post Print
You'll need a garden hose rubber washer. You can steal one from another tool, or print one using TPU.
Technical
This uses Adrian Schlatter's awesome threadlib. It's inline so it works with openscad without downloading libraries.
