Free Sliding Catch

I built a box/cover to hide all of the pipework from my combi-boiler in the kitchen, but didn't want to fix it to the wall so it would be quick and easy to remove if needed.

The soultion was my free sliding catch.

The box stays in place but can tend to fall forwards sometimes, so I made this catch to screw against the wall and stop my box from falling forward.

I can just raise the peg (or remove it completely) if I need to remove the box cover for any reason.

You can use the base with the screw fixings either to the left or right or top or bottom, the peg only goes in one way but you have a choice of ends to put it in to make it as flexible as possible.

There are probably a lot of uses for this object, so use your imagination as to what you can use it for.

Print the 2 parts individually so that they print perfectly and fit well together once printed.
