Description
I can't believe that I missed the deadline by four minutes for the Garden Competition…. My daughter and I had made a greenhouse top for a raised bed garden in our backyard. Made out of 4x8ft PolyCarbonate sheet and 2x2 lumber, it is modular but not totally easy to construct.
The connectors here are designed to fit into the corrugated structure of the PC sheets. Cut the sheets to the right size and then use the connectors to set the corners. Clear packaging tape can be used.
The PC sheets can be cut with common tools or a sharp knife.
I thought it was a good mix of the use of 3D printed parts along with mass produced sheet goods.
Printed with PLA with draft setting for smaller greenhouse. For larger green houses use PETG or Taulman PCTPE.
HInge is held togther with a short metal rod, I used a paperclip straightened out and then the ends bent to capture the hinge together.
