Inline Non Interfering Filament Spool Holder MK3/S/+

This filament spool holder is designed to not interfere with the extruder as it moves across the x-axis at maximum z-axis height, so it is only 2mm in front of the printer frame. Also, it better aligns the filament spool with the extruder, especially as the extruder transverses the x-axis, which causes less drag on the extruder resulting in higher quality, more consistent prints.

This is designed to fit an 80mm wide, 200mm O.D., 40mm I.D. spool, but others may fit too.

To install, bring the bottom part of holder to touch the bottom of the frame with the holder lip resting on the front of the frame and bring the top part of the holder to touch the top of the frame then push up on the bottom part from below (rather than pulling from the top) as you pull the top part forward over the frame.

There is a 4mm hole to optionally bolt it to the printer for extra securing using a 4mm x 16mm hex socket head cap screw - requires drilling and tapping the frame to fit the bolt.

The g-code is set for PETG, 25% grid infill, 0.20mm layers, quality setting, 0.40mm nozzle.

NOTE: After installing the filament spool holder manually check for clearance before running the printer as each machine can be slightly different in dimensions. Also check the back side to make sure the cable wire ties on the back side of the extruder will clear the filament spool holder as well.
