Drybox Dessicant Holder with 120mm Fan

BOM

1. 120mm PC FAN
2. Silica gel beads (diameter ≥ 1.8mm, most beads are compatible)
3. 4 fan screws

Instructions

1. Print as shown in the photo. Supports off for the holder; supports on for the lid. I recommend PETG.
   2. PETG is good because it is flexible and has very good layer adhesion. The narrow ribs are quite fragile in PLA
   3. PETG is also good because it is more stringy. In this model, a stringier print means the silica beads are better retained!
2. I suggest doing the assembly in your drybox container, since the beads tend to spill
3. Fill the holder with silica gel using a teaspoon
4. Slide the lid on, as shown in the picture
5. Screw the fan into the holder using the fan screws
6. Over a trash can, gently vibrate the holder so that all the fractured silica particles fall in the trash rather than making a mess in your drybox
