Description
Hi,
I am new to 3D printing and 3D-CAD and this here is the first project i like (and dare) to publish.
It is a “simple” holder for toilet paper rolls with 90 mm x 45 mm (length x inner roll diameter).
The model files contain 3 parts. The roll holder and two different side parts.
One side part is a “screw” version with two ~5 mm polygonal holes.
The second side part is a variant for the insertion of two 5x10 mm magnets.
Printed in Creality PLA Black with:
Layer: 0,3 mm
Infill: 11% ZigZag for roll holder // 15% Cubic for side part
Support: yes & brim with 10 lines for roll holder
Ironing: yes for side parts (top side is outward facing and ironing makes a nicer look)
The side part is due to some small mistakes not 100 % symetrical. So it is best to print one of the side parts mirrored.
Note:
Until now I only printed the magnet version as seen in the pictures.

Update 07.10.2024 - V1.0
Added two base plates, one for 45 mm suction cups (here) and one for screws. The side parts are just pushed onto the base plate. Glue them together if you want, but it also holds without.
I recommend to scale the roll holder with +1 mm in z-direction (width of paper roll). Maybe its my model or the slightly curved surface where I put it. It could be a bit longer, sometimes it falls out.
Update 05.07.2026 - V1.1
This update adds a flippable cover for the 3D‑printed toilet paper holder. The side panels which hold the cover simply snap into the hex-pattern side mounts. For the lid hinge, use a small piece of filament: heat it gently, then press it flat to lock it in place.
Happy printing!
