Description
I originally made this ice scraper a few years ago, during a rare week of morning frosts. It's been useful enough for frosts and snow on road trips that I've printed some new ones with a bit of a festive update.
The scraper has a smooth edge on two-thirds of its diameter, and ice-breaking teeth on the other third. You can also unscrew the top to use it as a funnel for refilling windshield washer fluid.
The 3MF has the “painting” and preferred print settings (0.2mm layer height; 3 perimeters @ 150% nozzle width for internal perimeters). I printed this in PLA, which held up fine, but I assume pretty much any moderately strong filament will work (e.g. PETG, ASA).
The embossed snowflake is made with the new SVG part feature in Prusa Slicer 2.7, using this graphic. Normally I include step files for my designs, but in this case I seem to have lost the original CAD file.
