Print and Plate System! - Metal 3d-Printing at home!

List of material that are required:

-Conductive filament (i used “MSNJ-conductive” pla)

-Pipe-anode: OD 4 mm x ID 3 mm,

-Electrolyte (depends on the material that will be plated)

-Silicon tube:  OD 5 mm x ID 3 mm

-Power supply with wires/ confirmed to work with 3xAA batteries as well

While the end goal of this project is to make everything 100% self replicating, i highly recommend using a pump with a silicon tube to start with, as this is a lot more reliable. I have included 2 different pumps, 1 for a drill, and 1 for nema17 stepper motors.

The current latch is designed to work with a Sovol SV-04, but should be easy to adapt to any other printer. (see source files).

Please read the safety instructions of whatever electrolyte you decide to go with, and stay safe! Use proper PPE!

Both the Electrostatic motor, as well as the Ionic fan need a high voltage DC power supply. these can be found online as “igniters”. I had to try a few different ones, some seem to create higher frequency's but lower power. 

Please be careful and discharge the capacitors before handling the parts, high voltage can be dangerous!
