Description
Certain versions of the VanTrue N4 dashcams do not have the mount for the CPL filters they (and other third parties) sell for these cameras. This model fixes that, allowing for any 37mm lens to be attached to the camera.
The adapter is designed to friction fit onto the camera (see real photos), but also has an M2x6 screw hole for a more fixed fit -- this hole is designed without a heat-insert and should have the screw thread into the plastic. The nubs have a flex cutout that gives them a little bit of movability as to secure a tight fit on the camera housing.
A picture of the slicer orientation is included. The part is constructed to print without supports (brim is suggested), but you may wish to do so depending on your printer.
I've included .STL, .3MF (OrcaSlicer), .STEP, and .FBX files for this. It was designed rather quickly in Fusion 360 and I've left most of the history intact. I recommend printing the "thread" portion at 0.08mm since a 37mm uses really fine 0.75 thread pitch.
