loo seat fixings

If you have ever had to replace a loo seat you will know its probably the least pleasant job in the house because you have to scrabble about under the rim of the loo to undo the bolts.

This design enables you to fix a new loo seat entirely from above.

Everything is in the kit except the two M5 bolts: use stainless steel ones!

This design consists of a long plastic nut that rides up a channel to expand a housing that jams against the side of the ceramic pan. (A bit like a rawlplug.) The plastic nut is part of the holder print. As the screw is tightened the nut breaks away from its support and rides up the channel. 

So 1) no access is required to below the ceramic pan and 2) you can screw and unscrew the loo seat holder from the top.

For the best results re-slice the .stls and print using a 0.4mm nozzle.
