Shotgun Shell Holder / Side saddle (12 & 20 Gauge)

Summary:

There are various version of this simple shotgun shell holder / side saddle available.

On the uploaded pictures (Maverick 88) I used the 12G_5pcs_25mm__straight_velcro version. As Filament I used Prusament PETG with Carbon Fibers (Black) - The other one (not mounted) is Prusament PETG Galaxy Black.

Check the Key below to select the correct model for your shotgun:

Note: The length per shell capacity is 25mm (on 12G Version). 

For example, the 2pcs version has a total length of 50mm. The 3pcs version 75mm and so on.

Printing instructions:

Use PETG

Perimeters: 3

Solid layers Top & Bottom 5

Infill: >25%

No Supports

Note: Place the shell holder on the heat bed in the same direction as you would mount it.

Fastening:

Velcro Strip

(I used tesa On&Off extra strong)

Note: Use the “Loop”-side (German: Flauschband) on your gun and the “hook”-side (German: Haftband) on the holder.  Btw: loop is the soft side, hook is the harder side of the velcro strip.

Outro:

The shell fit is quite tight and needs to wear in a little. Let me know about yours!
