Description
Changing colors between layers is a known and easy to use feature in Prusaslicer. If you want to change filament within one layer you usually need the MMU. But with virtual extruders and some prearrangements in the model and slicer, this can also be achieved with the regular printer.
This little test model consists of two pieces with a color change on the first layer. The first one is like an emboss print with a nice shine-through effect. The second piece has inverted writing, so that the letters form a smooth surface with the background.
Be careful when removing the purge at the filament change, don't pull it off but hold it with tweezers till the printhead moves away. By this you will most likely catch also any leftovers on the nozzle.
